Will the Adscam Guys stay Forever?

Will the Adscam Guys stay Forever?

By

James Bredin

If we re-elect them we’ll get more of the same,
More adscam corruption under a different name,
And we deserve what we get if we go down that road,
As they continue in their crooked tax and spend mode.

But they’ll announce a tax break just you wait and see,
As they declare more political appointees,
To the Senate or Supreme Court or some other spot,
One of their appointee quit when he got caught.

Spending taxpayers’ money as if it was their right,
Don’t have to justify when receipts out of sight,
Hidden in the Access Act where no one can see,
Can you remember the missing billion at HRDC?

Can you remember Shawinigate and Chretien’s Inn?
Where the ethics guy and RCMP said it wasn’t a sin,
And those friendly foundations where more is stashed,
So secret, no one even knows if the cheques were cashed.

Flat Tax my Friend

Flat Tax my Friend

By

James Bredin

Why are our politicians so opposed to flat tax?
No people in the world so overtaxed to the max,
That plus Mulroney’s GST could make a man cry,
Complicated calculations -- madness gone awry.

No justification or human rights near here,
Get the numbers right or have plenty to fear,
Just pay your extortionate taxes and none of your crap,
Wouldn’t want those tax guys to cause a flap.

Just fill out the forms and spell your name right,
Adding and subtracting enough to give you a fright,
Deductions for that and additions to this,
Don’t forget one number or the tax guys will hiss.

And each year it gets more compound and complex,
That’s the way they like it as you get more perplexed,
And you’ve been trained to be compliant and quiet,
Canadians forbidden to speak out or riot.

But certain countries already have flat tax,
Twenty percent would be nice and we could relax,
Though politicians and auditors hate this idea,
Might act in a panic like they had diarrhea.

The media or their papers don’t write about this,
Bought by politicians who think this is remiss,
It might interfere with their extortionate plans,
Adscam ideas and envelopes in hand.

Have Canadians lost Control?

Have Canadians Lost Control?

By

James Bredin

Coming from everywhere for refugee status here,
Human rights activists waiting so nothing to fear,
Can’t be deported because they have Charter Rights,
A hundred more arriving almost every night.

Maybe a million more illegals now enroute,
Trying to avoid their laws or those in pursuit,
Beat the war-crimes rap, get away and survive,
Illegals with Charter Rights as they arrive.

Terrorists too but who’s counting these days,
Claim refugee status in a hundred different ways,
As we ourselves, behave like we’re on remote,
Too proud to mention the immigration vote.

Do-gooders want amnesty for illegals in a bind,
These genocide war-crimes guys need to unwind,
Legal aid lawyers will solve trials and tribulations,
Improve our national status at the United Nations.

Caught with our pride and politically correct views,
As they tell us about multicultural news,
Some say at this rate there may be more of them than us,
Who are these guys, and should we cause a fuss?

Lounge Liberals Laugh

Lounge Liberals Laugh

By

James Bredin

The constant drip of their Liberal propaganda,
Medicine to ensure we’re on their agenda,
Injected daily in our heads through their papers,
By bought journalists up to their usual capers.

And worse; we the people don’t seem to have a clue,
And from corrupt politicians we’ll get what we’re due,
Led like sheep as they tell us more and more and more,
Eventually they’ll lead us through the slaughter house door.

Because nothing can be changed in their status quo,
As they lead us on to glory and spend all our dough,
In junkets here and there all over the globe,
As they tell us there was no need for that adscam probe.

Holier than thou pressure group from above,
Born again bureaucrats that you are obliged to love,
Bilingual phantoms who appear and disappear,
On contract for life so they have no need to fear.

Democracy done through biased surveys you see,
Bent leading questions they ask to you and to me,
And the results published as a foregone conclusion,
Same-sex stuff in case you think this is an illusion.

No democracy or referendums allowed,
With their secretly selected Supreme Court crowd,
Vested interests of course but no one knows what the are,
Not allowed to think that adscam was bizarre.

Terrorists and war-crime guys in court

Terrorists and war-crime guys in court

By

James Bredin

Terrorists and war-crime guys without any fears,
Will clog our Supreme Courts for many many years,
Legal aid lawyers just love international affairs,
When taxpayers pay all their bills but who cares?

Endless appeals because they all have Charter rights,
With soft justice system there’s no problem of flight,
Can’t deport or get rid of them even if we tried,
As they scream holy murder and say they never lied.

And the secretly appointed Supreme Court,
Whose special interests no one can know or report,
Will allow the appeals for no apparent reason,
Dressed in red gowns because it’s the season.

No saying what this is doing to you and to me,
Human rights activists want these terrorists free,
They consider the Americans too far right wing,
They lock up terrorists and do the right thing.

Trudeau’s socialist Charter was written for them all,
Even pajama clad terrorists both big and small,
Supreme Court judges use it to make a decision,
Anything that comes to mind with great precision.

Decisions on abortions and gay marriage and such,
Isolated and far away from the common tough,
Where feminist and special interests might decide.
By secretly appointed folk with pomp and pride.

Seven Ladies and Trudeau's Charter

Seven lovely ladies from Lively

By

James Bredin

Lively is so small you might not find it on the map,
Don’t hear much about them getting in a flap,
In Northern Ontario near Sudbury someplace,
Where people are good and not much disgrace.

Though seven lively ladies in Lively are confused?
When compelled to join a union they just refused,
Charter gives them rights to join a union – or not,
That piece about “not” government and union forgot.

Unionized against their will but who could have guessed,
Under our labor laws don’t bother to protest,
Those who should have helped them, just ignored,
Called the Canada Industrial Relations Board.

Who allowed these ladies to overstep their bounds?
What vast right wing conspiracies here abound?
They should be chomping at the bit to get onboard,
They should get in line and do as they are told.

Government bureaucrats don’t want to be involved,
Though it’s their responsibility that it should be solved,
Letters and paperwork all gone missing and astray,
Now the ladies have dues and the taxpayers will have to pay.

The government code of silence allowed it all,
And the dear ladies from Liverly now feel so small,
Pushed by government, union and the Labor Board,
So much for the Charter and the so called rights accord.

Liberals want Millions of Immigrants

Liberals want Millions of Immigrants

By

James Bredin

They want a million more immigrants by tomorrow,
To vote for them in three years much to our sorrow,
Immigrants on welfare can vote just the same,
Politically correct but this they won’t proclaim.

Especially unmarried mothers from far far away,
To multicultural ghetto buildings in decay,
Political propaganda broadcast everywhere,
And we are a flock of sheep being led here and there.

Refugees can’t be deported because they have rights,
To shoot each other in fights almost every night,
Just because he’s a terrorist doesn’t mean a thing,
If he/she might vote socialist or left wing.

Security doesn’t count because we’re so polite,
Can’t send them home in any outbound flight,
Cruel and unusual punishment the UN says,
But the UN itself doesn’t care who pays.

Symptoms of mental illness in this indirectness,
Their lust for power by political correctness,
Where opposition tends to whistle in the wind,
The adscam guys are pure and have never sinned.

Canadian Head of State

Canadian Head of State

By

James Bredin

Canadian head of state is never elected,
He or she is secretly selected,
By prime minister not elected by the public,
Makes announcements like president of republic.

And things can’t change because it’s not allowed,
Not by Ottawa bureaucratic political crowd,
No referendums, recall or term limits for them,
Don’t ever think or ask for it or they could condemn.

You cannot ask, question or show that you begrudge,
Whether governor general, senator or judge,
About special interests or bias in their past,
It’s fait accompli that’s been secretly passed.

And still we cannot change or adapt to reality,
Stuck in the mud of the status quo mentality,
Can’t vote for a senator or a prime minister,
Their propaganda says that this is not sinister.

Democracy advocates are not allowed in the door,
Establishment pretends they’re not there and ignore,
Equalization payments keeps separatists at bay,
Except in Alberta, at least that’s what they say.

Flat Tax for Canada

Flat Tax for Canada

By

James Bredin

When did a politician show incentive or brains?
Slaves to their party -- disciplined and in chains,
The most taxed and overtaxed people in the globe,
While Canadian politicians in scandal probe.

No tax reform from political party nerds,
Not on the agenda of those in lock-step herds,
Party discipline -- political gobbledygook,
Stay out of the adscam scandal by hook or by crook.

And flat tax is a notion too complex for them,
It’s the party -- not the people and sing the anthem,
They’re not into equality tax arrangements,
As they avoid this like the plague to our amazement.

They prefer the status quo tax loopholes everywhere,
Opaque nightmare too complicated to compare,
Where their friends have their money hidden overseas,
Where friendly tax auditors charge enormous fees.

These Ottawa socialists have special-interest friends,
Too busy at the moment to look at the trends,
The number of countries that already have flat tax,
And more all the time but these are only the facts.

We need a leader – not a politician up there,
-- Not some scandal plagued minister in despair,
Advantages of the single tax rate are numerous,
It’s been done and this is not something humorous.

Known to have positive impact on revenue,
But they’re bound to the status quo and want no review,
Socialists and communists not much into change,
Wait for the US to do it and then arrange.

Tax simplification not on their agenda,
Pumping out adscam political propaganda,
Avoid heated debate and numbers like the plague,
Democracy too – you just lie and be vague

Flat Tax is Forbidden

By

James Bredin

Has flat tax been completely forbidden?
By politicians who like to remain hidden,
Tax and spend and free travel overseas,
Sitting and drinking in a tropical breeze.

Can’t discuss this in the dining compartment,
On assignment and it’s not our department,
Was not discussed in caucus or committee,
Next year we’re going to Panama City.

Canadians, you see, love being overtaxed,
Payment for multiculturalism so relax,
Fifty percent of income plus GST,
So complex indeed that no one can see.

Canadians are always quiet and polite,
Plus they have Trudeau’s Charter of Rights,
So who put this flat-tax idea in your head?
The Conservatives – certainly not the feds.

Those who talk flat tax will have to be expelled,
Put in prison or mental home and then held,
This type of stuff cannot be allowed,
Canadians love their taxes and they’re so proud.

No Impeachment in Canada

By

James Bredin

Canadians always in an internal struggle,
To define who we are in this multiracial puzzle,
Some say we’re not American and others say we are,
Government says multicultural; so bizarre.

Canadians not allowed impeachment; never will,
Party discipline despotism so take a pill,
Treated like children and told when to listen and eat,
Government exists for special-interest elites.

Adscam corruption conspiracies and the blame game,
Liberal same-sex media bias; the same
No referendums or recall in this struggle,
No need for democracy in this pompous puzzle.

Members of parliament are mostly disciplined nerds,
No term limits or impeachment for these party herds,
Forget about constituents because they don’t count,
It’s the Party agenda to no small amount.

It’s Kyoto and the UN and we should agree,
Soft justice system and let in every refugee,
Because in the three years election they can vote,
They know who to vote for and who to promote.

MP Denied Communion by the Church

By

James Bredin

An MP denied communion by the church,
All done because of a law and same-sex research,
Their marriages made legal by the adscam crowd,
Special-interest gay groups now feels so proud.

Plus the prime minister got special action,
His priest was delighted with satisfaction,
Prime minister could have communion, if and when.
His same-sex beliefs were in no way a sin.

And the pope better get in line with all this,
Women priests or some gay guys having a kiss,
You are not allowed to vote for your prime minister,
And you can’t think that this could be quite sinister.

In fact don’t think at all, stuck in the status quo,
As special-interest propaganda puts on a show,
Democracy, referendums, recall not allowed,
No communion for one MP under a cloud.

More Advice to Stephen Harper

Judge Gomery, head of the Adscam Inquiry

More Advice for Stephen Harper

By

James Bredin

Stephen Harper, I’m sure you’ve heard of referendums
Or recall or term limits and their ultimatums,
So mention the adscam hidden foundations,
Propose proportional representation.

Can’t plod no more like Joe Clark or Preston and bore,
We have Internet now and some of us know the score,
We need triple E Senate and Ottawa free votes,
Not that communism that the adscam guys promote.

Print off this poem and write down your agenda,
Write a contract for Canada – not propaganda,
Watch out for a Belinda type stab in the back,
Be first out the gate and lead the adscam pack.

Claim that you are here to change the system around,
Not a Red Book or Shawinigate confound,
No more missing billions or HRDC stuff,
Canadian people have had just about enough.

No more partisan appointments to the High Court,
Their same-sex and two-tier-health care report,
Questions asked before appointee decision,
It’s democracy – not special-interest revisions.

Emphasize democracy – not fancy dancing,
Around donations from foundations for financing,
Or envelopes full of money being passed around,
Make us feel better because this is profound.

Doomed Canadian Democracy

Doomed Canadian Democracy

By

James Bredin

Parliament is a puppet show of really bad actors,
And they change nothing, these dicey detractors,
Adscam Liberals who don’t seem to have a plan,
Other than staying in power for as long as they can.

Delay the adscam report until at least next year,
Then pompously deny in a voice that sounds sincere,
Those envelopes stuffed with money were a lie,
Blame the Conservatives and it’s easy to imply.

Liberals want to rule Canada and not go to jail,
Hide the truth under constant lies in great detail,
Appoint their special friends to all the high places,
Cover their ass and overlook special cases.

Ethics and the Red Book and Shawinigan affair,
Missing billion at HRDC was terribly unfair,
Equalization and a pension will buy those from Quebec,
The Bloc Quebecois out front in case you want to check.

Isolated in Ottawa away far away,
Party discipline – not constituents – on display,
Accountability in a bureaucratic haze,
No democracy in this murky Mafia maze.

Referendums are completely forbidden,
The idea of political recall is also well hidden,
No proportional representation any day,
But same-sex marriages for those who are gay.

Hold back real democracy as long as they can,
For special-interest types to the very last man,
Kyoto for those extremist environmental nuts,
No smoke from a chimney and we can all live in huts.

Queer Priests

Queer Priests

By

James Bredin

This problem has been here since about twelve hundred,
When they changed the rules in case you wondered,
Back then, priest’s widows were such an angry hungry mob.
They wanted their property and not starve and sob.

The rules were changed and so that priests could not be married,
No widow problems then when the priest got buried,
Church knew then that queers would like the celibate job,
They were thinking property and their duty to god.

Sex-abuse trials for these so called holy men,
In white Roman collars and black vestments amen,
Credibility, justice, church, god and the devil,
When did heaven and hell go off the level?

The pope now forbids the ordination of queer priests,
Plus those already ordained will have to cease,
Doing what they do and this is long overdue,
What caused the change -- morals, money or déjà vu?

So gay priests can stay but they have to be chaste,
The scandals are getting too expensive to be faced,
Millions and billions being paid to those who sue,
Churches being sold to pay but this too is taboo.

Most of the priests are probably not involved,
Bit it’s that probability that has to be solved,
“Oh,” you say with indignation, “This can’t be true!”
“There are probably only a tiny few.”

But our confidence is shaken as never before,
Can we trust the priest up front any more?
Questions in the newspapers, front and center,
Suspicions of the holy mentor seem to enter.

And what are the odds of your parish priest being gay?
“But that’s not a sinful condition,” they say.
As they sit in the box listening to your confession,
Righteous indignation of the gay profession.

When did the dream turn nightmare from heaven to hell?
When did gay priests feel they had certain rights as well?
And if priests got married would that be a sin?
Can the rules for priests’ widows be changed once again?

Remember Shawinigate

Remember Shawinigate

By

James Bredin

Remember Chretien’s motel in Shawinigan?
Ethics, Mounties and they got voted in again,
Do you remember they never needed receipts?
And the missing billion at HRDC had no deceits.

Remember the High Court same-sex decisions?
Liberal majority and no revisions,
No notwithstanding clause but secret foundations,
And they deny proportional representation.

Remember two-tier health care decision that we’ll pay,
But after an election to ensure they’ll stay,
Two-tier and Kyoto Agreement will be enforced,
Money to secret foundations will be endorsed.

Remember they’ve got it made in the way things are,
Their appointees will cover them though it’s bizarre,
Referendums and recall are strictly banned,
They can do what they like and can’t be charged or canned.

Honorable nerds not accountable to voters,
Who themselves seldom vote for these adscam promoters,
Remember people vote for corrupt politicians,
Germany, China Russian historical revisions.

Can anything be changed or are we all going to hell?
Tied to their status quo and not allowed to smell?
Remember they are opposed to any and all change,
No need to think, do anything or rearrange.

They’ll delay the Gomery report till sometime next year,
Do or say anything to pretend they’re sincere,
And those envelopes full of money were quite clever
And without term limits they’re here forever.

Political Human Rights Tribunals

Politicial Human Rights Tribunals

By

James Bredin

Formed by politicians with long position titles,
Proclaiming their propaganda pompous recitals,
With “honourable” before their name just to be sure,
That we knew they were not in the least immature.

Proclaiming their righteousness and in so many ways,
Founding human rights tribunals – the modern craze,
Organizing these peculiar biased parades,
Vote producing machines and political charades.

Pumped up propaganda and emotions of despair,
Politically correct on a wing and a prayer,
Justice bent by a left wing socialist think tank,
Where everyone is equal except those with rank.

Complaints of discrimination will be sorted out,
They’ve read the Charter so there can’t be any doubt,
Legal rights and human rights and UN code,
Where no one will ever carry too big a load.

Government legal aid funding will be provided,
Advocates, activists, paralegals, lawyer guided,
With the hidden agenda of the righteous enforced,
Do-gooders go along with their faith reinforced.
