The Canadian Charter and Osama Ben Laden

The Charter and Osama Ben Laden

By

James Bredin

They say Osama Ben Laden is coming to Canada soon,
Maybe by tomorrow or for prayers next Friday afternoon,
He heard that security certificates might all be forbidden,
And all these high class terrorist might soon be forgiven?

The politically appointed Supreme Court made this decision,
They voted and vetoed unanimously with great precision,
And you can’t criticize them because they are holier than thou,
They dress up in red and their words are law so now take a bow.

This is the same crowd that said the abortion clinics were okay,
Therefore the free-choice feminists could all go out and play,
Soft on crime as they read anything they liked into the Charter,
Decide this or that or maybe open prison gates just for a starter.

As we the people just have to obey because of their might,
These appointees can’t be questioned or elected because they’re right,
No referendums, no recall and the people have to obey,
That’s why Osama might be coming over to Canada to stay.

Bring On Global Warming

Bring on Global Warming Soon

By

James Bredin

They keep preaching and warning us about global warming,
New numbers, figures, surveys and charts every morning,
It sounds like it might be here by at least next Thursday week,
The sky might fall in the meantime and things could indeed get bleak.

Pompous TV prophets say this is going to happen for sure,
Have your credit card ready and send away for their brochure,
Make a big donation to their foundation and their cause,
Because if you don’t; it’s coming to get you, just like in Jaws.

New religion of Kyoto has arrived like apocalypse now,
Climate change is coming to a place near you soon somehow,
And you better join up or maybe repent or change your ways,
You’re not allowed to escape this righteous new religious craze.

But they muddy the waters as they continue to torment,
Hide the fact that climate change is a slow ongoing event,
They wave their arms and they scream as they try to cast a spell,
They going to ride their celebrity status all the way to hell.

This natural cycle that has all these scientists worked up,
Places that make smoke might have to eventually closeup,
If we close down these factories, it might interfere with trade,
That’s where many people work and that’s where they get paid.

But those facts seem to have evaded these religious nuts,
Some of them highly educated but still behave like a klutz,
I think that climate change could be great so bring it on,
I’ve had enough digging snow and wish it was all gone.

Supreme Court Decisions

Supreme Court Decisions

By

James Bredin

Government security certificates are now out the door,
They are what the Supreme Court political appointees abhor,
And maybe those alleged terrorists wouldn’t hurt a fly,
As they smile in freedom from the front page and I do know why.

These alleged activist terror suspects cannot be kept in jail,
They will have to be charged with something, set free or given bail,
Every left-wing UN activist came out of the woods and cheered,
Some of them jumped up and down and others even jeered.

The judges read it in the tealeaves of Trudeau’s Charter that day,
That Charter written for “EVERYONE” in the world, come what may,
Those left-wing political appointees who like to dress up in red,
Their decisions are law whether right, left or loose in the head.

More worried about individual rights than the country as a whole,
Secrecy could violate the rights of terrorists we were told,
And come what may, we have to obey because they seem to rule,
We’re like kids in school and it’s so cruel and don’t be a fool.

It’s obvious the system has gone out from the people’s control,
Democracy only in name and Supreme Court on a roll,
No referendums, no recall and politicians can’t change,
Leave everything so that the Supreme Court will arrange.

Political Recall and referendums

Political recall and referendums

By

James Bredin

What happens if your politician decides to cross the floor?
It’s already happened in Ottawa several times before,
Then he/she joins some terrible awful party on the other side,
It’s a slap in the face as you are left abandoned with no pride.

Suppose he/she then joins the Communist Party, what can you do?
Still nothing, my friend, because you have to obey the rule,
And you can’t recall the turncoat because it’s not allowed,
Regardless of what you think or even say or scream aloud.

You realize your politician is as dumb as a stick,
Though he could be in office for maybe five years and even six,
And if you want to change that, you can’t because you’ll be denied,
As you realize what he/she did to get elected was lied.

Canadians need recall to get rid of turncoat trash,
To bring back political democracy in one quick bash,
Or maybe binding referendums to drive the point home,
Turn them into homeless political creatures and let them roam.

Not Politically Correct

A Subject that is not Politically Correct

By

James Bredin

Political appointees until they are each seventy five,
Can’t be questioned about fetus babies being kept alive,
They read Trudeau’s Charter and decided on babies deaths,
Feminists all cheered until they too were almost out of breath.

And no big meals before the five-minute killing procedure,
Everything kept quiet in this horrible willing procedure,
There is nothing to be proud of in this form of homicide,
How could slaughter become stylish in our countryside?

Hundreds of thousands of politically correct abortions,
Names of the guilty persons not published or other distortions,
In less than five minutes the murdered baby was dead,
Indictable crimes of long ago, now a fancy fad instead.

While many Muslim women rush to the maternity ward,
Call all their sons Mohammed while they are mostly ignored,
The demography of these opposing trends is never exposed,
Not politically correct and the subject is now closed.

Abortion Clinics or Maternity Ward

Abortion Clinic or Maternity Ward

By

James Bredin

Why do so many Canadians love their abortion clinics?
With high-flying feminists and other academics,
Hidden horror holocaust killing houses galore,
Where life is denied daily to new babies by the score.

Maybe five or six million dead fetus babies -- nobody knows,
No identification; no names, just numbers with no clothes,
Events that could maybe make the other holocaust look tame,
The guards at the Auschwitz death camp would understand this game.

There’s an isolated hierarchy of untouchables dressed in red,
Made decisions that all unborn babies should dread,
Politically appointed infallible Supreme Court folk,
Read Trudeau’s Charter and did it all with one little stroke.

Eventually, slowly, we will pay for these colossal blunders,
As immigrants who don’t mix much with us increase their numbers,
Where a man can have three wives regardless of bigamy laws,
That plus demography at the maternity ward just because.

Political nerds in Ottawa should realize this and change,
Half our disappointed people refuse to vote to rearrange,
Bring in referendums, recall and a requirement to vote,
Start with proportional representation and stay afloat.

The Writing on the Wall

The Writing on the Wall

By

James Bredin

Their higher birthrate will make us a minority soon enough,
Demography and the abortion clinics will soon call our bluff,
Mix in multiculturalism and political correctness,
Then add prissy politicians with no balls or directness.

Then mix in far left-wing appointed Supreme Court decisions,
No referendums, no recall and no Charter revisions,
Invasion by immigration plus feminists’ abortion rights,
Is this what happened in Bosnia that caused such a big fight?

Lack of immigrant integration like in a past generation,
Fixation with discrimination hides social disintegration,
While the maternity ward slowly turns them into majority,
And abortions turn Canadians into a minority.

Ah, but you stand and scream that this could not happen here,
We’re such a nice UN democratic nation and so sincere,
Democracy means numbers which the abortion clinics changed,
Demography means many new babies and that’s not so strange.

It will be a slow process over the next twenty years,
Europeans have already had riots added to their fears,
Will our multicultural ethnic enclaves save the day?
Should we all go to our various churches and kneel and pray?

Results of Trudeau's Charter

Results of Trudeau’s Charter

By

James Bredin

Immigrants locked in self isolation ghetto enclave,
Might stay shielded in their culture till they go to their graves,
Encouraged by multicultural policies in Trudeau’s Charter,
No need to question these policies or try to be smarter.

Because Trudeau wrote the Charter from the Ottawa heights,
With no political recall, referendums or property rights,
And Supreme Court appointees will decide what’s right or wrong,
Lifetime political appointees know whose side they are on.

And nothing in their left-wing Charter is up for debate,
Life-and-death decisions that you are not allowed to berate,
It’s whatever they read in the tealeaves of the Charter that day,
It’s often an extremely strange left-wing judicial display.

Integration of immigrants is not high on political lists,
They are busy on various junkets and may have missed,
American melting pot policies, they claim, would not work here,
Because we have Trudeau’s Charter and therefore nothing to fear.

These ghettos impede integration into greater society,
Add to that, some ghettos become noted for notoriety,
But being politically correct, no one can point a finger,
And you wouldn’t want to stand around there or linger.

The Ghettos

Hundreds of Ghettos

By

James Bredin

Hundreds of ghettos, called enclaves, are now spread all around,
Because of proud multicultural policies of renown,
That Trudeau and Chretien together thought would be great,
In their Charter without referendum, property rights or debate.

Those in their ghettos now stay buried in their various cultures,
Though in Paris they come out sometimes and riot like vultures,
Nor is there any integration in our multicultural streets,
No American type melting pot allowed by left-wing elites.

But Trudeau’s Charter gave rights to “EVERYONE” on the globe,
UN refugees with aids at the airports that no one dare probe,
This reality and the writing on the wall, way above our heads,
Lost long ago to our multicultural Ottawa feds.

Bragging rights at the UN in our pious pompous isolation,
No need to change a thing; no need for integration,
And the second and third generation can stay where they are,
No need to learn French, English or think that this is bizarre.

Environmental Criminals

Environmental Criminals

By

James Bredin

Those who make greenhouse gasses will have to be put in jail,
Put there by the inquisition of the new religion without bail,
These new commissions and agencies will have to take command,
And those who shit, piss, smoke or fart will get no bail or remand.

These criminal offences will be handled by a special court,
Bring back public hanging to encourage environmental support,
China, India, Indonesia and Brazil are all UN exempt,
The US, Russia and Australia don’t even have to attempt.

But Canada, thanks to Chretien, is in it right up to our necks,
We will send them our taxpayers’ money in very large checks,
Or maybe instead we will decide to send them buckets of cash,
We’ll have bragging rights at the UN where we can all be brash.

When the emissions are not allowed and the factories close down,
And people are unemployed by a decision from the crown,
Economic collapse doesn’t mean a thing to this cult,
No need for a referendum or recall or even to consult.

An Environmental Spin

An Environmental Spin

By

James Bredin

With titles before and letters after their names; they should know,
How easy it is to get governments, the UN and people to kowtow,
Thirty two percent more greenhouse gasses than a few years ago,
As they stand and preach on TV and every radio show.

Our environment is going down the pipes, these do-gooders say,
Enthusiastic environmentalists screaming every day,
Like old time preachers on a pulpit as they preach about sin,
We can’t get to heaven unless we pay attention to their spin.

They speak with authority about the science of climate change,
And we’re not allowed to think that their theories might be deranged,
Human activity, they say, is the fault of it all since nineteen fifty,
Like prophets of old and no one would dare claim that they’re shifty.

Floods might appear in coastal areas along with frequent droughts,
The glaciers and the permafrost will disappear in case we have doubts,
The writing is on the wall they say and the Great Lakes will decline,
We might have to run into the woods or hide down an old mine.

The melting polar ice, the rising temperatures and the high seas,
We have to listen to these do-gooders with their mystique expertise,
We have to follow the grand UN Kyoto international plan,
Since Chretien and his left-wing Liberals signed us up to a man.

Climate Change coming to get you

By

James Bredin

Global warming is coming to a place near you later this year,
Sincere politicians say we will still have to persevere,
As they announce the most recent polls as if they were true,
Sanctimonious screamers that do everything on cue.

Surprising how easy their stupid ideas are to sell,
The sky may fall by next year and we may have to say farewell,
We’re so lucky to have them who are able to foretell,
Temperatures will raise sky high and we may all burn in hell.

The UN Kyoto Accord is indeed the only way to go,
Reason to pompously raise taxes to a higher plateau,
Send cash to poor places in this UN international plot,
And forget that UN Saddam scandal because so few got caught.

The so called experts and the analysts from tax-fund foundations,
Announce that this could interfere with international relations,
Unless we go along with them and buy into their crazy notions,
Forget reality and pay attention to their pompous emotions.

Their new irrational political religion needs you now,
No need to think about this or to lift up your eyebrows,
No need to be unsure, doubtful, suspicious or guarded,
Just follow pompous politicians who may indeed be retarded.

Global Warming coming to you

Global Warming coming to you

By

James Bredin

Greenhouse gasses are coming and they’re going to get you soon,
Choke you up and lay you out at least by the next full moon,
They’ve got this Kyoto religious cult and you better join up,
Because the next inquisition, like the last, could indeed be rough.

Like all new religions, their intensity is ferocious,
Propaganda about Kyoto Accord is often atrocious,
Could climate change propaganda be worse than a communist plot?
Are they a bunch of influential crazies, who haven’t been caught?

Even the UN is on side and surely they can’t be wrong,
Remember Saddam oil-for-food scandal and they all went along,
Send money to poor places but through the UN in cash,
Foreign Aid is such a nice name for a UN Kyoto stash.

Eventually they may come and get you if you don’t obey,
Send you to their distant cold gulag away far away,
Their solutions to global warming will involve great pain,
But we have to suffer they say so that we can eventually gain.

And no one has the guts to tell them that they’re quite mad,
Politicians love to listen to themselves which can be quite sad,
With global warming we could burn to death and end up in a casket,
In the meantime, it appears we’re going to hell in a hand basket.

Global Warming

Global Warming coming soon

By

James Bredin

They just came up with new statistics to prove their case,
Good propaganda -- global warming words right in your face,
They claim to have data, polls and statistics on their side,
Climate change is our big concern and we can’t be denied.

We will have to go green or appear to be green as seen,
Otherwise we’ll ring a bell and shout that we’re bad and unclean,
The pollsters, the bureaucrats and the politicians all agree,
It’s a new religion and we just have to get down on one knee.

The Kyoto agreement should be on our minds at all times,
Otherwise, we’re bound for destruction in extremely hot climes,
Even though we’re freezing in minus twenty five degrees now,
Global warming is coming to get us so we better take a bow.

They want government agencies, bureaucracies and foundations,
Get on the Internet and find out where to make a donation,
They’re going to tell us what we like, whether we like it or not,
Because they have the word and the world is going to get hot.

Hey Mr. Pompous Politician

Hey Mr. Pompous Politician

By

James Bredin

Hey Mister Pompous Politician: What are you doing today?
Is that a ticket for a junket to somewhere very far away?
Did you vote to double your pay just one more time?
Why are you not ashamed and you think this is all fine?

One group of politicians replaced by another group so fast,
Then the new group is as bad or maybe worse than the last,
Has their global-warming scam got everyone’s attention?
They’ll say anything; do anything to get another extension.

Their green program will fix everything if you just let them stay,
Pollution will disappear as they tax and spend to our dismay,
Their new left-wing socialist bias on view but never explained,
Totally different than what they said when they campaigned.

They show no interest in proportional representation,
Or referendums or term limits while on vacation,
Too busy to arrange for change or political recall,
Confrontational issues sent to the High Court to stall.

So many incoming refugee claimants, we could choke,
Charter written for “EVERYONE” – not just for Canadian folk,
And even Osama Ben Laden can claim Charter Rights,
He may be at the airport now in the middle of the night.

Why not elect the Canadian Supreme Court

Why Not Elect High Court Judges

By

James Bredin

Because you can never disturb the Canadian status quo,
Not since the Charter was written by Chretien and Pierre Trudeau,
Confrontational issues are given to the High Court to solve,
So we have to sit back and wait for their decisions to evolve.

These political appointees cannot be asked certain questions,
They are so high and mighty that no one can make suggestions,
Then they get their photographs taken dressed up in long red gowns,
Don’t these appointees realize, they look like a group of clowns?

Politically correct decisions on whether homosexuals can wed,
Or maybe holocaust slaughter in an abortion clinic bed,
With no feedback or input from the lowly people who count,
These political appointees cannot be held to account.

These Supreme Court decisions that they ponder day and night,
Can take years because they will be there for most of their life,
Could be put to the people in a binding referendum form,
No need to watch and wait for the Supreme Court to perform.

We need referendums, term limits and political recall now,
We need elections where proportional representation is allowed,
And included in these elections should be Supreme Court folk,
Their untouchable legal decisions should not make us choke.
