Secret global taxation is coming your way,
In the form of Kyoto fees maybe by next May,
Complements of Martin/Chretien and UN friends,
Tax and spend do-gooders following UN trends.

You will of course be told that this is for your own good,
Help poor developing nations out of the woods,
As dictator Swiss bank accounts jump by leaps and bounds,
In Euros, Swiss franks, Canadian dollars or pounds.

Because global warming could easily boil us all,
The Arctic is melting fast and the sky might fall,
India and China have all been excused,
The US and Australia not involved though we’re confused.

And as Canadians, we are in it up to our necks,
No referendums and no one knows or even checks,
Goody-two-shoe politicians think this is great,
And this is not allowed to come up for debate.
