No Cell Phone Law in Ontario

No Cell Phone Law in Ontario

By

James Bredin

Putting on her makeup with a baby on her breast,
Talking on her cell phone and just a little stressed,
As she makes a left turn in heavy traffic at the lights,
Enroute to the left wing Commission for Human Rights.

Politically correct and self righteous to a flaw,
No way they’re going to change the cell-phone law,
Ontario politicians seldom do it right,
Why should they start now and give us all a fright?

As they tax and spend more and travel the globe,
Talk to each other on cell phones and avoid any probe,
Political place where it pays to be brain dead,
No one knows a book that any of them ever read.

Every now and then they make a proclamation,
Cell phone laws don’t change and no need for an explanation,
As they put the province in debt right up to our ears,
Even worse than Bob Rae so we have lots of fears.
