UN, AIDS, Africa, Canada

UN, AIDS, Africa, Canada

By

James Bredin

The UN wants us in Sub Sahara Africa and soon,
But call it peacekeepeing as we fight battles every afternoon,
Half a dozen of those places seem to be in a constant war,
Mix in starvation and aids; therefore the UN just can’t ignore.

And they want lots of Canadians in on the action now,
Even before we leave Afghanistan if time will allow,
We were in Rwanda and Somalia and had to back down,
We are fully aware of the American Blackhawk down.

Bring a million aids refugees here to show we’re sincere,
They could join the thousands left by the UN aids conference here,
No one got deported so we must be aids plague immune,
And it’s the UN aids agenda that will be our misfortune.

It’s human rights – not war or aids – that this is all about,
It’s not religion no matter how loud the UN imams shout,
Because the UN agenda is more important than dead soldiers,
We have to obey their commands like subservient stakeholders.
