Polygamy Anyone

Polygamy Anyone?

By

James Bredin

At the moment it’s a crime in Canada to have two wives,
But times are changing fast where political correctness thrives,
And the Trudeau-Chretien Charter gives rights to “Everyone” alive,
The appointed Supreme Court is waiting for them all to arrive.

When polygamy is allowed next year; will it be a big hit?
What Canadian can afford to do this, even a small bit?
And two women in a small kitchen, they say, is not good,
And four fat women might not even fit; is that understood?

What if one woman wants a divorce; can she just up and go?
Should she go to court for some alimony dough though?
I realize that you don’t have the answers to these questions,
And of course I don’t have any advice or suggestions.

And what will the fierce feminists do about these decisions?
Because High Court decisions are final without revisions,
Will they demand to have three husbands each to even it up?
Hair-brained like another abortion-clinic decision matchup.
