Onward to Glory at the UN

Onward to Glory at the UN

By

James Bredin

The list of dictator representatives is very long,
At the UN where their cartel is extremely strong,
Democracy is an idea that’s very strange to them,
Send them to jail, they point at politicians they condemn.

So they have a war, a famine, peacekeepers and AIDS,
Corruption, guns, grenades and portentous pompous parades,
In uniforms dripping gold braid always over there,
And lots of religion so they often say a prayer.

And all their UN corruption is swept under the rug,
Like Saddam’s oil for food as though no one is a thug,
As we stand mesmerized by their antics in New York,
Can’t figure out which one is the biggest dork.

They want us all in Kyoto up to our necks,
Extortionate global taxation for their pet projects,
The Americans and Australians are not in this of course,
In Canada we sit and wonder about Kyoto divorce.

While those who got us into this are looking for a leader,
Some adscam Liberal who might be a mouth breather,
Definitely some left wing environmental disaster,
Some socialist communist lord of the rings master.
